E-Tendering
BiP's contract information services are complemented by its suite of e-tendering services, under the Delta-ets brand.
Delta-ets enables public sector contracting authorities to create, manage and transmit contract notices electronically, both to the Official Journal of the European Union and to BiP's contract notice information services. Delta-ets services also enable buyers to manage e-Auctions, securely store and exchange electronic contract documents and view supplier profiles.
The Member States of the European Union have committed to achieving 100% availability of online procurement systems by 2010. Delta-ets provides the assistance public sector contracting authorities require in order to meet this target, and to ensure that their procurement activities remain compliant with current EC legislation.
